PROPYLÆA’S services include design proposals, full architectural construction sets and owners representation as well as collaborations with architects and designers to build their work as well. Recently, PROPYLÆA acted as owner’s representative for the Cooper Union’s sesquicentennial celebration installation in the historic Great Hall of the Foundation building. PROPYLÆA’S reputation for creativity was sought out by a successful Chinese developer to contribute to the creation of a Western style high rise for newly affluent local entrepreneurs in the city of Wuhan, an important industrial and political nucleus in central China. PROPYLÆA’S reputation for excellence in woodworking was called upon to craft a large scale sculpture of a Philip Johnson designed tower now part of the permanent collection of MoMA.
